1940 WE 300 set desk.This is probably the most famous of the designs that famed architect and designer Henry Dreyfus did for Western Electric. The smooth graceful lines effected the design of telephone for at least 2 decades beyond its introduction. The phones were not only nice to look at they were very well built. Ma bell expected to collect rent on these for many years so when they were built they were built to last.

The 300 sets were made from either bakelite or steel. The steel phones are sandblasted down to bare metal, primed, and repainted if required. The dials are completely cleaned and calibrated so you can expect years of trouble free service. The wiring has been updated and/or replaced as necessay. The phone comes with a 6 ft. modular line cord and is ready to plug into your home phone system. There is a 30 day return privilege.
